Rockwood Leadership Institute Training

TAKE A BREATH

Let go of whatever you’re holding on to… for the next few minutes, at least. Give yourself a moment to slow down, breathe, and take a break while you explore what joyous and effective leadership can do for you.

Each section of the training focuses on one of Rockwood’s 6 core practices. Through guided meditation, small group exercises, games, and deep reflection, you’ll be introduced to each, and learn ways to bring them into to your daily life:

  • Purpose
  • Vision
  • Partnership
  • Resilience
  • Performance
  • Personal Ecology

The word leader is traditionally associated with executives and manager, but at Rockwood, everyone is a leader. The ability to inspire and align others is essential in every role, and at every level.

That’s why our trainings are open to anyone who’s interested in deepening and strengthening their leadership skills. The only pre-requisites are a willingness to step out of your comfort zone, to give and receive feedback on their strengths and blind spots, and to learn with and from others.

The Art of Leadership is more like a retreat than a training. It unfolds over 5 days in a beautiful, natural setting, with all meals and snacks taken care of so you can focus completely on yourself and your leadership.

Since 2000, Rockwood Leadership Institute has provided thousands of social change leaders across the globe with tools and skills to help change themselves, their communities, and the world.

MELTON FOUNDATION: Global Citizenship Conference 2017

CONVENERS.ORG MEMBER EVENT

Every year, the Melton Foundation convenes for a week-long Global Citizenship Conference (GCC) in order to provide and exchange tools and resources that enable solving pressing global challenges.
The GCC convenes about 100 Global Citizenship advocates, practitioners, and experts from across the globe to build a community of global citizens, encourage collaborative learning, and expand the outreach of global citizenship.

Once again, it’s that time of the year - Akwaaba!

At our 26th GCC, we are gathering in Ghana from 13-19 August 2017 to help answer one big question:
What is the role of a Global Citizen in a world that is in flux?

With the increasing unpredictability and interconnected nature of our world, in which today's greatest
challenges, from climate change to poverty, inequality to displacement, natural resource depletion to
overpopulation, are global in nature the call for a paradigm shift is becoming increasingly louder. We
call this Global Citizenship!

Be a part of this experience and join our journey towards global citizenship today! REGISTER AT http://bit.ly/RegisterGCC2017 (registration open until 30 June 2017, limited spaces available)
